Formed originally in 1987, CLS has grown over time to become one of the UK’s leading suppliers of sound and lighting equipment. From the days when everything had to be ‘Fly by Wire’, we are now at the front edge of computer controlled technology, encompassing sound and lighting systems along with online capabilities, which most other companies are only just beginning to learn about.

But that’s not what makes us better, it’s the fact that we don’t only sell and maintain the equipment, we use it ourselves.

Our hire department covers virtually every aspect of sound and lighting hire, from pubs and clubs through to new year street parties, conference services, video, satellite links and pyrotechnics.

This adds an edge to our sense of what’s right and what’s not that is simply light years ahead of the rest. Believe us, we have seen some of the attempts, and bear in mind it’s the customer that loses out – after all, it’s your money.

A flexibility to recommend the right equipment for your particular task, without being tied to the constraints of any particular supplier, or under pressure to sell bought stock, means when you ask for the best, that’s what you get. Full stop.

And if you don’t think we’re telling the truth, try us. We already supply to some of the biggest customers in the UK, and they don’t get it wrong. That’s why they use us before anyone else.
