A quick trip forward to today and we find huge external hard drives with literally millions of songs, laptops providing not only sound but visuals as well, and all teaming up with a bewildering array of mixers, software and hardware which means that the only thing which is a certainty is that in 12 months time what you buy now will have been up dated, up graded, and more likely than not up priced as well !
